Darren's Apple Crisp

Fruit Mixture

6 cups Pared apples, sliced thin (can prepare this ahead of time, place in ziploc baggie with sugar as preservative.)
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
dash salt

Crumb Mixture

1 cup flour
3/4 cup rolled oats oatmeal (not instant)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine all ingredients for fruit mix, stir and spoon into 12" Dutch oven.  Combine crumb mix, spread over fruit filling.  3-5 briquettes under and 18 - 22 briquettes on lid, cook for 45 - 50 minutes.
